Mit den Katzen ins Bett, mit den Hähnen raus | Cats and roosters in Chisworth
Nach einem wundervollen ersten Abend in Cambridge (danke Andy, Jenny
und Jennifer!) ging es Sonntag morgen los ... Gegen 12 Uhr habe ich
Heather und Ben am Bahnhof von Macclesfield getroffen, mein Gepäck ins
Auto gequetscht, mich und meine Fiddle noch dazu gepackt, und dann
ging's los nach Chisworth (in der Nähe von Glossop). Hier haben wir
auf der Verlobungsfeier von Heather (noch eine Heather :)) und Andrew
Musik gemacht.
Es war ein echt netter Abend mit einem sehr entspannten Hauskonzert, netten Leuten, einer Curry-Explosion (wir scheinen den kompletten Indisches Takeaway leer gegessen zu haben), viel zu vielen Katzenhaaren (*hatschi*), einem sehr enthusiastischen Hahn morgens um 6 und jeder Menge Spaß.
Gerade essen wir Curry zum Frühstück, dann werden wir ein bisschen raus an die frische Luft, dann alles wieder einpacken und zum nächsten Gig nach Stockton-on-Tees.
After a wonderful first night in Cambridge (thanks Andy, Jenny, and Jennifer!) we headed off to Macclesfield on Sunday morning where I met Heather and Ben at the train station at 12 o'clock. We squeezed my luggage, myself, and the fiddle into the car and headed off to Chisworth (near Glossop). At this cute little village we played at the engagement party of Heather (another one :)) and Andrew.
It was a very nice evening with a really nice house concert, lovely people, a curry explosion (we must've ordered all the available food from the Indian takeaway), way too much cat hair (*sneeze*), a very enthusiastic rooster at 6 am, and a lot of fun.
Right now we're having curry for breakfast, then we're going out for a walk, pack everything back into the car, and off we are to Stockton-on-Tees where we're playing tonight at the Stockton Folk Club.
